Black Friday Janitor uses nine Steam achievements to mark total completed tasks. The thresholds rise from one task to 30,000, so the efficient route is ordinary mall completion rather than repeating one action only for a counter.

What are all task milestones?

These requirements come from the public Steam achievement list. The all-achievements guide contains the remaining store, area, level and full-mall achievements.

How large is the overall cleanup?

The official store description lists 21,000+ products to shelve, 10,000 rubbish items, 500 spills and 300 fallen objects. Those advertised categories total at least 31,800 tasks, although the listing does not publish how each individual action is counted internally.

Do not use that arithmetic to predict an exact unlock moment. Use the achievement requirement itself and the in-game task interface.

What is the best milestone route?

1. Select one store or compact zone.
2. Finish products, rubbish, spills and fallen objects in separate passes.
3. Confirm store completion before moving to the next route segment.
4. Let task achievements unlock naturally across those clears.
5. Save the 25,000–30,000 stretch for broad area completion and final sweeps.

What should you do if a milestone does not unlock?

First confirm that Steam has installed the latest update. The developer’s v1.0.3 notes specifically say an issue with the number-of-tasks-completed achievement was fixed. Then:

• complete another clearly visible task;
• allow Steam time to synchronize;
• exit normally after the save indicator settles;
• compare the requirement with the correct threshold.

Do not reset a long save or edit achievement data based only on a delayed overlay notification.

How should you record progress?

Use a small log with the date, game version, start count, end count and store or area cleared. This makes a tracking problem reproducible without turning the run into constant counter checking.
